Dynamic Island

A morphing status pill with timer, recording, music and AirDrop states.

Apple's Dynamic Island is the best status indicator I've seen — it morphs to fit whatever it's showing. I wanted to build a web version that actually works: a real ticking timer, a live equalizer, a scrubable progress bar. The pill springs to fit each state's content — width and height animate together, and the internal layout cross-fades. Seven states, each with real interactive behavior, all sharing one morphing container. The spring physics are the key: fixed-duration animations would feel robotic, but springs settle naturally no matter what size they're moving to.
