List items that expand into a detail modal with shared layout.

Admin panels have rows of data that link to detail pages. Every click is a full route change — you lose your list position, and the detail page has no visual connection to the row you clicked. I wanted the row to become the modal. Click it and it lifts out of the list, traveling upward and expanding into a detail card. The image, title, and button all have shared layout IDs so they morph from their list positions to their modal positions. Dismiss and everything flows back. You always know where you came from.
