Neumorph Input

A neumorphic search field with pressed focus shadows.

Flat input fields don't communicate focus well — the border color changes but nothing feels different. For a soft-UI theme, I carved the input out of the background using inner shadows instead of borders. When you focus, the inner shadow deepens — the field visibly presses in, like pushing a physical button. It's a small thing, but it makes typing feel tactile. The shadow transition is 150ms ease-out so it responds instantly to focus without being distracting.
